If you turn off email and/or push notifications, you will not receive the notifications, but they will continue to appear on your notification page.
 

＜How to change notification settings＞

iOS/Android

  1. Tap on your [Profile] to tap [Settings]
  2. Tap on the [Notifications] tab.
  3. Tap the smartphone icons to turn off push notifications.
  4. Tap the envelope icons to turn off email notifications.
 

Web

  1. Click on your [Settings].
  2. Click on the [Notifications] tab.
  3. Uncheck the specific notification to turn off.
  4. Click [Save changes] .
 

Emails

  1. Click the [Change mail settings] link in any email.  
  2. Log in.
  3. Uncheck [Announcements] of Notifications from HiNative on your notification setting page.
  4. Click [Save changes].
